Why Mixed Martial Arts?
Members take our Mixed Martial Arts for numerous different reasons including:
•Learning Self Defense
•Competing in the cage
•Getting in Better Shape
•Being a part of a team
•Continuing a combat sport after a school program such as wrestling
When you join our mixed martial arts program at Neutral Ground, you are able to have unlimited access to our classes and gym. Members learn their techniques in our structured Jiu Jitsu and Kickboxing classes, get in shape by taking advantage of our Circuit Fit program and put all their skills together during open mat and sparring sessions. This is a one stop shop in improving as a well-rounded mixed martial artist.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get started?
Simply register for a free Kickboxing or Jiu Jitsu class online. At your first class, we can answer any questions you might have about our MMA program. Otherwise give us a call at 715-544-6339, email at firstname.lastname@example.org or stop on in!
Do I need I need to Spar or fight if I do MMA?
Members don't have to "fight" or "spar" if they don't want to. The only time members need to spar is if they are training for a competition.
Are your classes safe?
Yes! Although just like any sport, injuries can happen. But safety is a primary concern at Neutral Ground and we take many measures to ensure the safety and comfort of all our members.
I haven't exercised in a while - is that ok?
Of course! Fitness is a prime motivator for many people, and a major purpose for joining. The first week will be tough, no doubt, but you can go at your own pace and take as many breaks as needed. You will be in great shape before you know it!
Do you have a competition team?
Yes! We have one of the largest competition teams in the state! We are very active in all the sports we train and always impress the competition! Our competition team is voluntary.
